Scope of Project
NCDHHS ITD requires an experienced Salesforce Solutions Architect to lead the DCDEE Early Education Integration System. The role focuses on designing and delivering secure, scalable, and user-focused Salesforce and integration solutions aligned with the organization’s digital strategy. This position bridges strategic business needs with robust, secure solution architecture and plays a key role in shaping the Salesforce ecosystem through enterprise-grade designs and complex system integrations.
Responsibilities:
Architect end-to-end Salesforce solutions and guide technical strategy and execution
Collaborate with subject matter experts, technical leads, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into cost-effective technical architectures
Design and lead implementation of complex API-based integrations between Salesforce and external systems
Ensure solutions meet data security, performance, backup, and recovery standards
Identify and mitigate technical risks across the architecture
Define best practices for using standard Salesforce functionality versus custom solutions
Create high-quality technical documentation, data models, and solution diagrams
Lead code reviews, design workshops, and release planning sessions
Collaborate with Agile teams on backlog refinement, user story decomposition, and acceptance criteria
Assist with Salesforce environment setup and CI/CD pipelines using release management tools
Support DevOps processes and ensure smooth cross-functional delivery
