Senior Delivery Manager - Finance - SC Cleared - £600 pd inside IR35

One of our government clients is looking for an experienced Programme Delivery Manager to join them for a 3 month contract. They are offering£600 per day inside IR35.

Our client is based in London and they require2 days onsite working per week. You will need to be willing to travel to other office locations.

This role is working in a Security Cleared environment. You will need to be SC or DV (developed vetting) cleared or eligible to undertake SC or DV Security Clearance.

As the Senior Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing the delivery of the Hera prioritised product backlog. You will implement, champion and coach the use of agile and lean delivery methods and tools. You will create and lead a co-operative environment where people from different teams and directorates regularly come together to communicate, work and deliver in a collaborative manner at pace. The role includes line management responsibility.

Skills and experience required:
Extensive experience of Delivery Management in an Agile or Lean DDaT environment
Extensive knowledge and experience of Delivery Management of either Finance, HR or Commercial products: matched to one of the three Delivery Management posts.
A general awareness of Finance, HR or Commercial product functionality. That is: have enough awareness of the types of work these corporate functions and applications do to hold sensible conversations and understand requirements; but not expected to be a practitioner or expert.
Line Management experience
Experience of engaging and collaborating with external Suppliers in service delivery
Awareness of the Government Commercial Function (GCF)
Contract Management Professional Standards. And/or willingness to complete the GCF on-line study material and obtain accreditation at Foundation Level. Or some similar contract and supplier management accreditation. (desirable)
