As Business Development Manager – France, you’ll bring that purpose to life by growing Bupa Global’s presence across the French market. You’ll champion our premium value proposition and expand our reach across Individual, SME and Corporate health insurance customers—working closely with brokers and strategic partners to connect more people with high-quality international healthcare.

It’s a senior individual contributor role that suits someone commercially sharp and hands-on, who enjoys building trusted intermediary relationships and opening new channels—think family offices, private banks and wealth managers—to help more customers access world-class cover.

Key Responsibilities

Drive commercial growth across Individual, SME and Corporate segments, managing a healthy pipeline to meet sales, revenue and profitability goals.
Develop and nurture intermediary networks—build strong broker and partner relationships, stay visible in-market, and lead structured Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to align on actions.
Plan and expand the market—contribute to short‑ and medium‑term plans; deliver timely, accurate forecasting and reporting for transparent decision-making.
Win new business end-to-end—from prospecting and tailored consultative presentations to coordinating quotations and onboarding, ensuring a professional experience throughout.
Protect and grow the portfolio—work with account managers and internal teams to retain customers and identify cross‑sell opportunities that support the commercial plan.
Turn insight into action—gather and interpret broker, competitor and market intelligence to shape plans and uncover new opportunities.
Do the right thing—put good customer outcomes first, comply with relevant regulation, escalate issues quickly and meet internal governance standards.

What We’re Looking For

Extensive market experience—10+ years in intermediary distribution and/or direct sales within the French healthcare or insurance market; IPMI exposure is an advantage.
Proven consultative seller—track record of sustained new business in Individual, SME and/or Corporate segments.
Partner-first mindset—skilled at building growth through brokers and strategic intermediaries.
Excellent communication—fluent in French and English, confident presenting to varied audiences.
Commercial and analytical—able to assess opportunities, use data insights and translate them into practical actions.
Collaborative and organised—comfortable in a matrix, proactive and resilient with complex workloads.

Responsabilités principales

- Stimuler la croissance commerciale sur les segments Individuel, PME et Entreprises, en gérant un pipeline solide pour atteindre les objectifs de ventes, de revenus et de rentabilité.

- Développer et entretenir les réseaux d’intermédiaires — construire de solides relations avec les courtiers et partenaires, maintenir une forte présence sur le marché et diriger des Revues Trimestrielles Structurées (QBR) pour aligner les actions.
