Job description:
Data Architecture & Modeling: 10+ years of experience designing enterprise data warehouse and data lake solutions using dimensional and Delta Lake concepts, with strong expertise in data modeling, enterprise data models, data dictionaries, and performance optimization on the Microsoft Azure stack (Azure Data Lake, Databricks, SQL, ADF, Power BI).
Business & Analytical Enablement: Partner with business stakeholders to translate business questions into scalable data models and analytics solutions, expanding documentation of business processes and data assets to enable reporting, insights, and operational decision-making.
Technical Delivery & Optimization: Design and communicate complex technical solutions into executable development work packages; develop and tune SQL (stored procedures, datamarts, reporting) across MS SQL Server and Oracle (PL/SQL), ensuring performance, security, and scalability of BI applications.
Tools, Platforms & Collaboration: Hands-on experience with BI and data modeling tools (Power BI, SAP PowerDesigner, Visio), Azure DevOps, ETL concepts, and collaboration with integration and architecture teams; familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks and COTS solutions (e.g., Curam) is a plus.
