ABOUT THE ROLE

Are you a technically minded sales professional who thrives in distributor-driven markets and enjoys building long-term partnerships?

 

Protimeter is seeking a Sales Account Manager – Europe to lead sales and business development across France and Germany. In this role, you will be responsible for driving growth of Protimeter’s moisture surveying and handheld measurement solutions through specialized distributors, while serving as a trusted commercial and technical partner in the region.

 

This is a highly visible role with autonomy, ownership, and the opportunity to shape growth in two strategic European markets.

 

LOCATION

Must be located in either France OR Germany

(Regular in-territory travel required)

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Develop and grow the Protimeter distributor network across France and Germany
Create and execute sales and business development strategies to achieve growth targets
Identify and develop new distributor opportunities, while strengthening existing partnerships
Build strong technical and market expertise on products and applications to support distributors before and after the sale
Develop sales tools and support materials to aid product adoption and regional success
Prepare and deliver sales presentations, training, and product demonstrations
Engage with local and country-specific industry organizations and associations
Maintain close collaboration with internal teams to support customer and distributor needs

 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Language Requirements (required):

Native German with C1/C2 French and English, or
Native French with C1/C2 German and English

 

Experience & Skills:

Proven sales experience with portable measurement devices, instrumentation, or technical equipment
Strong understanding of distribution-based sales models
Experience or working knowledge of building surveying or inspection
Familiarity with the customer and distributor landscape in France and/or Germany
Strong communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills
Self-driven, organized, and comfortable managing a territory independently

 

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Building Surveying, Inspection, or a related field
Experience with timber frame construction
Knowledge of moisture or humidity measurement in building environments
Interest or experience in agricultural monitoring or continuous monitoring technologies
