Summary

We are looking for a Salesforce DevOps Specialist to lead our release management processes and drive adoption of DevOps best practices. This role will focus on ensuring quality and stability of our Salesforce deployments using Copado and other DevOps tools.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the end-to-end Salesforce release management lifecycle, utilizing tools such as Copado
Maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployments
Define, document, and manage environment strategies and Git-based branching models tailored for Salesforce development.
Collaborate across both technical and business stakeholders to plan release schedules
Act as a point of contact for deployment issues and environment inconsistencies
Create and maintain clear documentation
Define and set DevOps standards and environment configurations
Stay informed on the latest Salesforce platform updates, Copado features, and evolving trends and best practices within the DevOps landscape.

Critical Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
3+ years and a proven track record within a Salesforce DevOps role in complex Salesforce environments
Copado certifications (e.g., Copado Certified Administrator, Copado Certified Developer).
Experience managing CI/CD pipelines specifically for Salesforce
Proficiency with Git version conrol systems and managing complex branching strategies
Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, particularly concerning deployment errors, merge conflicts, and environment specific issues
Experience in defining DevOps strategies, conducting process assessments, and driving adoption of best practices
Strong communication skills across a variety of stakeholders, including both technical and non-technical teams

Preferred Qualifications

Salesforce Platform Developer certifications.
Copado Administrator or Developer Certifications
Experience with Communications Cloud/Vlocity, Revenue Cloud
Exposure to multi-platform enterprise Salesforce architectures.
Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) or Salesforce DX CLI for automation tasks.
Experience with automated testing frameworks within Salesforce

Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
