IT Statistician/Data Analyst

Austin, TX -Hybrid

12+ Months Contract

Primary Job Functions

A bachelor's degree in a related field such as Statistics, Mathematics, or Data Science is the best.

Ten years of IT experience is preferred.

Qualification:

5-7 years of experience in IT Statistician/Data Analyst roles that have been responsible for collecting, cleansing, analyzing large datasets using R, Python, or SAS, building models to find trends, creating visualizations/reports, and presenting insights to guide business decisions, focusing on data integrity, technical skills (stats/programming), and collaboration for strategic outcomes.

1-2 client projects in Criminal Justice Systems, or 2-3 years in Criminal Justice Systems projects.

Typical Duties:

Design data collection systems (surveys, experiments).

Prepare analytical reports and present findings to executives.

Develop predictive models and algorithms.

Maintain data systems and provide technical support
