This is a senior technical leadership role requiring someone who can operate strategically while remaining capable of detailed, hands-on technical guidance when needed.
Key Accountabilities:
Oversee all OIC-based integrations and PaaS extensions, ensuring alignment with programme strategy, architecture, and delivery standards.
Define and validate reusable integration patterns for orchestrations, APIs, batch flows, and event-driven integrations.
Ensure robust error-handling, logging, monitoring, retry frameworks, and visibility via OIC dashboards and OCI Logging Analytics.
Review and validate integration specifications, mapping documents, transformation logic, and deployment artefacts.
Drive optimisation of integration performance, scalability, throughput, and payload efficiency.
Ensure integration sequencing aligns with data migration readiness, security best practices, and interface contracts with third-party systems.
Monitor progress of all technical integration work packages, identify risks and issues, and validate reporting to the Programme Director and Technical Design Authority.
Key Criteria
Minimum seven years of integration development experience, including at least five years of hands-on OIC expertise
Strong technical background in OIC, SOA, and Oracle Service Bus
Proven experience designing and building integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, XML, XSD, XSLT, JSON, OIC adapters, and file-based orchestrations
Experience with FBDI, HDL, BICC, and integrations across ERP, HCM, and EPM Cloud
Experience securing integrations using OCI Vault, certificates, and OAuth2
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to work independently
If you consider yourself to have a disability or if you are a veteran, and you meet the essential criteria for the role, you will be put forward for the Guaranteed Interview' scheme whereby you will have the opportunity to discuss this role and your suitability with a member of the Sourcing team.
