Job Title: Test EngineerJob Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. This position involves developing and executing test methods and protocols, preparing detailed reports, and releasing them through Engineering Change Orders (ECOs). The role requires maintaining disciplined test, configuration control, documentation, and management processes to ensure project success.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute test methods and protocols, prepare reports, and release them via ECOs.
Maintain disciplined test, configuration control, documentation, and management processes.
Propose requirements refinement to better support Verification and Validation (V&V) activities.
Analyze test results and apply statistical analysis as needed.
Support incoming inspection activities and fixture/equipment validation.
Engage in multi-disciplinary technical and process improvement projects.
Facilitate vendor communications and procurement issues.
Resolve multi-disciplinary technical issues within the program.
Manage and communicate assigned projects in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Essential Skills
Experience in new product development, verification, validation, and test engineering.
Proficient in writing test plans, protocols, and detailed documentation.
Minimum of 10 years of work experience in complex electromechanical system development within R&D environment.
Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Robotics Engineering or a related field.
Experience in heavily-regulated industries such as medical device or aerospace.
Proficient in developing test methods, protocols, performing tests and releasing relevant documentation.
Experienced in fixture and process validation.
Proficient in using statistical tools and software like Minitab.
Strong cross-functional collaboration and technical leadership skills.
Hands-on experience in assembly, integration, and testing of electro-mechanical systems.
Knowledge of industry best practices for development of complex electromechanical systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience in design transfer/new product introduction.
Working knowledge of Design for Manufacturing/Assembly (DFM/A), Six Sigma, and statistical tolerance analysis.
Familiarity with drafting standards including GD&T (Y14.5-2018).
Demonstrated CAD proficiency, preferably with Solidworks.
Experience using, modifying, and programming in MATLAB Simulink or LabView.
Project management experience including task timeline estimation and work breakdown structures.
Outstanding documentation and communication skills.
Proficiency in using MS Office.

The role involves working on complex electromechanical systems within a regulated industry such as medical devices or aerospace. The position requires a hands-on approach, with a focus on assembly, integration, and testing. The office is equipped with advanced technology and software tools, and the dress code is business casual.

This is a Contract position based out of Auburndale, MA.
Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $68.89/hr.
