Job Specifications

Our client - public sector - is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Operations Manager on an interim basis to lead the insourcing of IT services, ensuring stability and optimisation of cloud, network, and service desk while driving modernisation through ITIL, FinOps, and ISO compliance.
Key skills/responsibilities:
Lead IT estate discovery, enforce supplier exit compliance, manage service transition and integrate a hybrid team under a unified culture.
Oversee Azure cloud, network security, Microsoft stack lifecycle and ensure robust disaster recovery capabilities.
Implement FinOps for cost visibility, optimize cloud spend, and govern supplier relationships for value and SLA adherence.
Embed ITIL processes, improve Service Desk experience, and enforce comprehensive documentation standards.
Drive ISO 27001 and ISO 42001 compliance, establish AI governance foundations, and support internal/external audits.
This organisation operates a hybrid working policy and you must be comfortable working onsite for at least 2 days per week.
