URGENT REQUIREMENT: DATA PROTECTION OFFICER

We’re hiring an experienced Data Protection Officer for a 3-month contract with potential to extend. This role involves working across multiple entities with NHS data connections, supporting key projects and advising senior stakeholders.

What you’ll do:

Act as the designated DPO and ensure compliance with UK GDPR
Interpret requests from internal teams and NHS partners
Provide guidance on data protection for major programmes including CRM and NHS data sharing
Deliver pragmatic, risk-balanced solutions

What we’re looking for:

Experience in healthcare, local government, or similar
Strong knowledge of UK GDPR
Approachable, collaborative style with excellent stakeholder skills - Soft skills essential
Balance on the risk appetite
Support Senior stakeholders

Contract details:

3 months, extension possible
Competitive daily rate
Hybrid working: two days on-site preferred, flexibility available
