We are looking for a Communications & Events Student to join our (energy) Marketing department based in LOUVAIN-LA-NEUVE, BELGIUM.

As a Communications & Events Student, you will assist in planning and executing events, creating and managing content for various communication channels, and supporting customer activities. The nature of tasks will vary depending on business needs and we ask from you openness to a diversity of business-related tasks (admin, scheduling, data cleaning, ..).

What You’ll Do

Support Event Planning and Execution: Assist in the planning, organization, and execution of events and conferences before, during, and after the events. Monitor and maintain records of event budgets and expenses to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
Coordinate Logistics: Organize and manage logistics, including coordinating with vendors for booth stand builds, preparing and distributing internal materials (brochures, presentations), and tracking giveaways and promotional items.
Assist with content creation for social media: You will be responsible for creating content for our LinkedIn page and coordinating with the N-SIDE team other different types of content such as blog posts, white papers, etc.
Support Customer Engagement Activities: Assist with various customer-related activities, including sending satisfaction emails, tracking results, preparing welcome packs, and celebrating significant achievements with postcards and other tokens.
Enhance Internal Communications: Support internal communications by posting news or significant achievements on different channels, sharing results from projects or events, and reminding teams of important content or activities.

About You

Practicalities :
Your study load must allow you to work 20h/week for a company.

Educational Background: Ideally currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Event Management, or a related field.
Skills:
Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to convey information clearly and concisely in English.
Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and thoroughness in completing tasks.
Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with various stakeholders.
Proactive and Self-Motivated: Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to handle unexpected challenges and find effective solutions.

Traveil : Based in Louvain-la-Neuve. Office presence expected (home working exceptionally is ok). Work schedule to be determined based on availability of the student. Estimated 20h/week. Tuesday & Thursday availability is a must for us, other days to be discussed depending on availability of the student
