Role - Hardware / IoT / Embedded Software Engineer

Location - Cincinnati, OH — Onsite 4 days/week (Local candidates only)

Overview:

Seeking an engineer with strong hands-on experience in POS hardware, pin pads, Android devices, and retail peripherals (Zebra scanners). Role involves software deployment, troubleshooting embedded/IoT devices, and supporting high-volume retail environments.

Key Skills Required:

POS hardware experience (must-have)
Pin pads, payment devices, Zebra scanners
Android OS, firmware, and software deployment
Embedded/IoT device support
Hardware communication protocols (USB, BLE, serial, ethernet)
Hardware virtualization knowledge

Nice-to-Have:

Retail/grocery hardware environment experience
Device management tools

Scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
