Job Specifications
Our client is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead the implementation of a Master Data Management (MDM) platform (Stibo). This is a long-term contract role requiring a seasoned project leader capable of stepping into an active program and driving successful delivery in a complex, cross-functional environment. Ideal candidates bring experience managing enterprise-level initiatives, strong communication skills, and comfort working with system integrators and multiple business and technical teams.
This position is onsite four days per week at our client’s Austin, TX location. Candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership
Lead and oversee the end-to-end implementation of an MDM solution.
Drive alignment and communication with stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership.
Ensure the project remains on schedule and within the approved budget.
Facilitate workshops related to project discovery, planning, and execution.
Governance & Delivery
Identify, document, and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies; escalate appropriately.
Maintain project artifacts including action logs, RACI matrices, and status documentation.
Produce and distribute weekly status reports.
Initiate and process project change requests when required.
Lead Agile Scrum ceremonies to support iterative development and effective team collaboration.
Participate in resource planning and manage project closure activities, ensuring complete and accurate documentation of deliverables.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
6+ years of recent experience managing large-scale enterprise initiatives within a PMO environment.
Foundational understanding of Master Data Management (MDM) solutions.
Demonstrated experience managing projects using both Waterfall and Agile methodologies; knowledge of SAFe is a plus.
Strong ability to work across cross-functional business and technical teams.
Ability to be onsite four days per week (no travel budget is available).
Preferred Qualifications
Hands-on experience with Stibo MDM implementations.
Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP), CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), PLM platforms, or similar downstream applications.
Background in Retail or Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) is beneficial but not required.
Professional certifications such as PMP®, PgMP®, PfMP®, CAPM®, Prince2, or Six Sigma are preferred.

Strong facilitation skills for workshops, planning sessions, and cross-functional meetings.
Ability to manage risks and issues with confidence and clarity, including escalation procedures and health reporting.
Skilled in documenting and managing action items and RACI matrices.
Clear, concise communication skills, especially in the creation of weekly status reports.
Ability to drive Agile processes and support iterative development.
Proactive in resource forecasting, dependency management, and project closure activities.
