Data Architect (CPG/Retail preferred) - 6 months - London (Hybrid)- Inside IR35
We are seeking a seasoned Data Architect to help shape the data strategy for a global leader in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry-home to some of the world's most iconic brands in food, pet care, and confectionery.
In this role, you will directly influence how the organisation leverages data and analytics to drive innovation, optimise supply chains, and elevate customer experiences worldwide. This is more than an architecture position-it's a chance to enable data-driven transformation at scale for a highly recognised enterprise.
Key Responsibilities:
Define and align data architecture with business and technical priorities.
Translate requirements into scalable Data & Analytics solutions.
Analyze processes to identify opportunities for data-driven improvements.
Design, document, and oversee implementation of architecture solutions.
Manage risks, dependencies, and ensure compliance with standards.
Guide and support cross-functional delivery teams.
Apply hands-on expertise in data modeling and Secure-by-Design principles.
What You Will Ideally Bring:
10+ years as Solution/Data Architect (CPG/Retail preferred).
Hands-on experience with Azure, Databricks, Medallion architecture, PySpark, SQL.
Strong data modeling, Agile, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of Data Quality, Governance, FinOps, and large-scale cloud transformations.
Contract Details:
Duration: 6 months
Day Rate: £575-600 per day (Inside IR35)
Location: London- 2 days
Start Date: ASAP
