Data & Analytics Project Manager

Contract Length: 6 months

Location: Hybrid (HO in Stevenage)

Day Rate: £600 Inside IR35

Start Date: ASAP

We’re looking for an experienced Data & Analytics Project Manager to lead and deliver a range of data-driven initiatives across the organisation. You will oversee end-to-end delivery of projects such as reporting and analytics, ETL pipelines, data warehousing, and MDM, working closely with technical teams and senior stakeholders. If you have a strong background managing complex Data & Analytics programmes and enjoy bringing structure, clarity, and momentum to data environments, this is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in shaping our data landscape.

Key Experience Needed

Extensive experience delivering Data & Analytics projects
Strong understanding of ETL, data warehousing, reporting, and MDM
Hands-on experience with Azure Data & Analytics (Fabric experience is a bonus)
Proven ability to manage complex and senior stakeholder relationships
Skilled in project governance, risk/issue management, and escalation processes
Comfortable managing multiple concurrent projects in fast-moving environments
Experience with financial data or corporate reporting is advantageous
Project management qualifications (e.g., PRINCE2, AgilePM) beneficial

Key Responsibilities

Lead the delivery of end-to-end Data & Analytics projects across multiple workstreams
Establish and manage project plans, milestones, risks, issues, and reporting
Work closely with technical teams to support data engineering, reporting, and analytics delivery
Oversee projects involving ETL, data warehousing, and MDM capabilities
Partner with senior stakeholders to ensure delivery aligns with business goals and expectations
Facilitate workshops, presentations, and clear communication across technical and non-technical teams
Drive governance processes, ensuring decisions, risks, and dependencies are managed effectively
Support the organisation’s data strategy by ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery outcomes
