Job Specifications

This is a Kafka Administrator position, on-call support role, & does involve periodic on-call duties.
The primary focus is Kafka platform administration, management, and automation within a global engineering and operations environment.
The candidate will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing Kafka clusters and ensuring smooth operations across environments.
The role also requires the ability to mentor junior engineers, automate recurring tasks, and implement self-service solutions for the Kafka ecosystem.

Preferred Skills:

Hands-on Kafka Administrator with deep operational experience.
Experience building enterprise-grade Kafka clusters and managing Confluent Platform components.
Strong scripting/automation skills (Ansible, Python, Bash, or similar).
Proven ability to mentor and lead less experienced engineers.
Exposure to SRE practices and performance tuning.
Comfortable in a fast-paced, global team environment.
Willingness to participate in rotational weekend on-call.
Fully aware of and compliant with trading disclosure requirements.
