Analyze financial results, highlight key trends, and prepare insightful commentary for senior management and external stakeholders.
Partner with leadership to identify and implement process improvements that increase efficiency and accuracy in reporting.
Support the preparation of materials for audit reviews, regulatory submissions, and executive presentations.
Stay current with updates to accounting standards and assess their potential impact on the organization’s reporting framework.

Qualifications & Experience:

Minimum 8–10 years of progressive experience in financial reporting, with direct exposure to insurance or financial services industries strongly preferred.
Proven experience working with IFRS 17 and/or other complex accounting standards.
Strong background in external reporting and consolidation processes under IFRS.
Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in both strategic and hands-on capacities.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Proficient in MS Office Suite (particularly Excel), and familiarity with large ERP or consolidation systems.
