We’re backed by top investors and media partners, and we’re growing fast. We’re looking for a Vice President of Engineering to help lead our technical organization as we scale globally.
The Role
You’ll contribute to the technical vision and execution of Talk2Me’s core platform, spanning cloud infrastructure, real-time audio/video, and applied AI systems. You’ll work with a world-class engineering team building the backbone for intelligent, interactive voice and video experiences and report directly to the CEO.
What You’ll Do
Mentor, and grow a distributed team across backend, AI/ML, and real-time systems.
Architect and scale our cloud infrastructure on AWS (ECS, Lambda, Amplify, S3, CloudFront, RDS).
Oversee WebRTC and LiveKit pipelines for real-time video and audio.
Integrate voice cloning, speech synthesis and LLM fine-tuning (e.g., ElevenLabs, PlayHT, custom LoRAs).
Collaborate with product and AI teams to deploy personalized conversational agents and digital twins.
Implement robust DevOps, CI/CD, monitoring, and security frameworks.
Contribute to the technical roadmap, hiring plans, and engineering culture.
Work directly with executive leadership on product strategy and investor initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
8+ years in software engineering, 3+ in senior leadership.
Deep expertise with AWS architecture and DevOps.
Hands-on experience with WebRTC, SFU/MCU, or other real-time media systems.
Familiarity with TTS / voice cloning / AI speech technologies.
Strong skills with TypeScript, Node.js, Python, Next.js, and modern backend frameworks.
Proven record scaling SaaS or consumer platforms.
Understanding of ML model deployment, vector databases, and API design.
Clear communication and organizational leadership skills.
Bonus Points
Experience in media, entertainment, or creator-tech.
Background in audio DSP, speech synthesis, or reinforcement learning for dialogue.
Prior startup or early-stage leadership through growth and scale.
