This internship is within the Competence Center Crypto & Security organization. Here you will be part of a dedicated design team focusing on research and development for future security applications ranging from single designs to secure sub-systems with strong end-to-end secure solutions.

Role Description

We are looking for a highly motivated student to join our group for a 6 months internship / gap year. You will get an opportunity to be mentored by Senior Engineers and be involved in the modelling and verification of new cryptographic algorithms and systems.

Responsibilities

Architecting digital circuits, IC development and testbench verification
Simulating digital designs using latest state-of-the-art tools
Synthesizing designs to gate level and optimizing for area/power/speed

Your Profile

3rd, 4th or 5th year student of a Masters or Honors degree course
Electronic Engineering/Computer Science or related subject with perhaps a requirement to have an industry internship
An interest in IC digital design and understanding of Microcontroller architecture
Excellent written & verbal communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
