Data Analyst - with Asset & Wealth Management

Chicago, IL (Day 1 onsite)

12+ months contract

Key Responsibilities

Data Analysis and Management

Analyze and interpret complex data sets related to asset management.
Develop and maintain comprehensive data mapping and validation documents.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define data analysis needs.
Provide actionable insights and subject matter expertise based on data analysis.
Ensure data quality, accuracy, and integrity across all datasets.

Domain Expertise

Provide thought leadership within the financial services data space, focusing on multiple asset classes.
Collaborate with team members to design and implement data solutions supporting business goals and outcomes.
Contribute to the creation of user stories and acceptance criteria.
Develop and execute effective testing strategies and plans.

Qualifications

7+ years of experience as a Data Analyst within Asset Management (required).
Experience with distribution data (preferred).
Strong understanding of data across various asset classes.
Hands-on SQL skills with solid knowledge of data pipelines and transformations.
Familiarity with tools such as Aladdin, Bloomberg, FactSet, or similar systems.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience working in an agile development environment.
