About The Role

As a Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in identifying, analysing, and validating business needs across a range of transformation projects. You’ll work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, design new service delivery models, and support the development of IT systems and business processes.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end service design using business analysis and BPR techniques (e.g., Lean).
Facilitate workshops and meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
Analyse data and identify barriers to service efficiency.
Design and document new processes and functional specifications.
Advise on legislative and operational changes and their impact on services.
Maintain awareness of emerging methodologies and technologies.

What We’re Looking For

Prince2 Foundation or BCS Business Analysis certification.
Strong facilitation and interpersonal skills.
Experience in process mapping (e.g., using Visio).
Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
Ability to work independently and manage priorities.
Commitment to continuous professional development.

This vacancy is available as a secondment opportunity for internal candidates. Permission must be sought from your current line manager before applying for a secondment opportunity.

Hybrid working arrangements are available for this role. Each role at CYC is different and your working arrangements will be determined based on the requirements of the role and in collaboration with you and your needs as part of the recruitment process. Your contractual location will be the designated council office for your team.
