Head of Institutional Sales Europe - Onsite | Strasbourg - Space Software

We’re supporting a fast-growing European space software company in their search for a Head of Institutional Sales, someone who thrives on building relationships, leading high-stakes bids, and closing deals that power the future of space missions.

If you know your way around ESA, defence primes, or national space programmes and love turning opportunity into action this is your chance to lead from the front.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and secure new business across Europe’s institutional and enterprise space ecosystem
Lead proposal efforts in response to RFPs and competitive tenders
Assemble and manage multidisciplinary bid teams and partners
Shape customer-focused solutions alongside engineering leaders
Build a strategic map of key space agencies, industry players, and influencers
Track market intelligence, trends, and competitor activity
Represent the company at top-tier space conferences and meetings

Key Requirements

Experience in the space sector, ideally working with European agencies or primes
Proven success in complex bids, proposals, and government tenders
Excellent communicator, confident speaking to technical teams, executives, and procurement stakeholders
Hands-on problem solver with strong commercial instincts
Fluent in English (French a plus)
Strasbourg-based or open to relocating (support available)
