Glacier FarmMedia (“GFM”) is a dynamic company in the Canadian agriculture industry that connects with farmers through a variety of regional and specialty media franchises, a listings marketplace for the sale of farm equipment, leading industry events like Ag in Motion and Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show and customized offerings for Weather and Market analysis and insights.

 

Are you passionate about agricultural machinery and technology? Want to spend your summer helping create engaging video and digital content about farm equipment? We are looking for an Agricultural Machinery Intern to join our team, contributing to content that brings agricultural machinery and farm operations to life.

This role is ideal for students or early-career creators who are passionate about agricultural machinery and excited to translate hands-on technical knowledge into engaging video and digital content. While media production skills are valuable, a genuine enthusiasm for farm equipment and technology is at the heart of this position.

This is a paid internship running from May to August 2026.

Duties and responsibilities

Assist in producing video and digital content showcasing agricultural machinery and equipment.

Support planning, filming, and editing media projects.

Collaborate with media, marketing, and editorial teams to deliver content on time.

Help translate technical machinery knowledge into engaging content.

Contribute to other media projects as needed.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a program related to machinery, engineering, or a related field.

Strong interest in agricultural machinery and technology.

Comfortable with hands-on machinery work and translating technical knowledge into content.

Basic experience with video production, photography, or digital tools is an asset.

Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.

Valid driver’s license and access to transportation considered assets.

Working Conditions

Remote

Some travel required within Rural Manitoba
