Business Systems Analyst – Data Reconciliation & Project Delivery

Location Address: Toronto- Hybrid – onsite 2-4x/week

Contract Duration: 1 year with the Possibility of extension & conversion to FTE

Business group: GTEP - Strategic Portfolio Office

Strategic Portfolio Office (SPO) manages the development, execution and performance of the department’s strategy and roadmap. We ensure a stable, secure and efficient infrastructure and service delivery, that protects the customer experience and supports business growth. We lead efforts around performance, optimization and innovation, best practice portfolio management, financial management and transparency, and employee experience excellence.

The main function of a Business Systems Analyst is to perform the Data analysis, project management and implementation support of all applications within SWC scope.

Responsibilities:

• Works with Delivery leads, project managers within all business functions to align technology delivery plans and timelines.

• Data reconciliation across various systems to verify remediations

• Raising and documenting all data discrepancy

• Demonstrates an informed knowledge of operational flow (RCMP, MVP3, Service now, Discovery) capitalize on improvement opportunities.

• Might be required to raise and track required tickets to support project delivery

•Works on multiple projects as a project team member.

• Serves as a liaison between the Application teams and the IT organization in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs.

Must Have Skills:

1) 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst

2) Previous experience managing projects and ability to handle diverse projects, often times simultaneously, and meet aggressive deadlines.

3) Strong proficiency in Excel

4)3+ years of experience with SQL

5)Experience creating presentations using PPT

Nice-To-Have Skills:

1) MS Project

2) Spanish Bilingual

3) Previous experience with Process documentation (ie Visio)

4) experience with PowerBI

5) Prior ServiceNow experience

6) Previous banking/insurance/telecom experience

Education: Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required.

Best VS. Average Candidate:

The ideal candidate would have strong organizational skills and extensive experience with data analysis using Excel, SQL, and PowerBI.
