Role

This is a full-time position for a Business Development professional specializing in Machine Learning (ML) Technologies. The role involves identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, conducting market research, generating leads, and building relationships with potential partners and clients. You will manage communications with stakeholders, deliver high-quality customer engagement, and contribute to strategic initiatives aimed at expanding the organization’s market presence in AI-driven biotechnology solutions, particularly through collaborations with large language model (LLM) vendors.

Compensation:

The compensation range is flexible to attract the right candidate. This is a permanent position with benefits, an 8.33% bonus, and a hybrid work model with an office located downtown.

Qualifications

Strong analytical skills, including the ability to assess market trends and evaluate data for strategic decision-making.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) to effectively convey technical concepts and business proposals to diverse audiences.
Proven experience in lead generation and market research to identify new business opportunities and clients in AI-driven biotech.
Demonstrated customer service skills to build and maintain strong client relationships.
Familiarity with AI and machine learning technologies in biotechnology or healthcare contexts is a strong plus.
Results-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of working independently in a remote or hybrid environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field; advanced degrees are considered an asset.
Minimum 2+ years of professional experience in Business Development.
Work authorization in Canada required.
