Role: Ansible Automation Expert

Employment: Contract - Inside IR35

Location: Sheffield,UK - Hybrid

Skills

Required Skills & Experience

5–6 years of hands-on experience in Ansible automation for infrastructure configuration and application deployment.
Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Shell.
Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and experience with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
Strong background in Linux administration and system configuration management.
Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Knowledge of containerisation and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Familiarity with Terraform or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools is a plus.
Good understanding of networking concepts, security hardening, and automation best practices.
Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Red Hat Ansible Automation Certification or equivalent industry certification.
Experience in migrating manual operations to fully automated workflows.
Exposure to hybrid cloud or multi-environment infrastructure setups.
Knowledge of monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
