EMS / SCADA Simulation Engineer

Join a team developing and maintaining real-time simulation systems that help operators train and prepare for power network events.

What you’ll do

Administer and optimise Dispatcher Training Simulator (DTS) applications
Configure simulated RTUs, IEDs and consoles for operator training
Validate network models and maintain system accuracy
Implement and test fixes or enhancements to live EMS/DTS systems
Support control centre operations teams with technical troubleshooting

What you’ll bring

5+ years’ experience in EMS or DTS environments (GE XA21, OSI, Siemens, ABB or similar)
Understanding of Power System Applications such as Power Flow, State Estimation and Contingency Analysis
Proficiency in scripting or programming (C, C++, SQL, Shell, Perl)
Familiarity with communication protocols (ICCP, DNP3, IEC, Modbus)
Comfortable working across Linux and Windows environments
Strong attention to detail and troubleshooting ability
