JSS are partnered with an established financial services institution where they are looking for a Finance Analyst in their real estate lending division to play a key role in supporting the lender’s financial operations, reporting, and risk management activities. This is a 6 month-paternity cover so being immediately available to work is essential.

Responsibilities:

Processing loan-related transactions, managing relationships with outsourced loan servicers.
Preparing monthly and quarterly reports for the parent company, and contributing to market and credit risk processes.
Cross-functional collaboration, including engagement with senior leadership, non-finance teams, external partners, and the parent company.
Management of financial data sets (utilising Excel and Power BI). Variance analysis and presenting to senior stakeholders.
Reconciliation of transactions to cash movements, and follow-up and report on any unreconciled positions.
Quarterly credit loss calculations, reporting, and analysis
Supporting with month-end close and reporting, supporting the rest of the finance team to hit deadlines.

Personal Profile:

ACCA,ACA,CIMA, CPA, ICAS, CAANZ qualified with maximum 3 years post qualification experience.
Newly qualified candidates with relevant finance experience will also be considered.
Extensive experience in financial services ideally banking, lending or real estate investments.
Strong analytical skills, comfort with data tools (Excel, Power Query, Power BI).
Power Query - ESSENTIAL
Prior experience working in a dynamic and autonomous finance team, where responsibilities could vary across FP&A, financial reporting, finance operations and credit risk.
