What You'll Be Doing

You’ll be joining CIBC’s Capital Markets Technology team. You’ll lead complex projects to design strategic solutions aligned to CIBC’s enterprise architecture roadmap. As a Consultant, Business Systems Consultant Analysis, you’ll support end-to-end Client and vendor support as a subject matter expert in both business and technology. You’ll ideate and collaborate with a diverse team to create and set up flexible, innovative solutions that deliver a best-in-class client experience.

How You'll Succeed

Understanding and documenting requirements - Work closely with business partners to gather complicated business requirements and facilitate solution design discussions to ensure you meet project needs. Create strong relationships, lead discussions, listen and ask the right questions to ensure solutions meet requirements.
Solution design - Assemble client-focused solutions that meet business requirements. Prepare and validate solution design documents around areas such as scope clarification, solution requirements, and quality assurance.
Leading and mentoring – Support end-to-end project implementation as a subject matter expert, and provide guidance to a diverse team of technology and project professionals. Maintain a collaborative work environment and support team members to resolve organizational, operational, and process problems.

Who You Are

You can demonstrate 4 years of experience in production support experience, including at least 2 years as a Business Systems Analyst (BSA). You have worked with Client Data Management applications, ideally Fenergo, and have a minimum of 2 years’ experience with SQL queries, business intelligence (BI) tools, and documentation. You are proficient with workflow collaboration tools such as JIRA, as well as test and project management tools. Additionally, you have hands-on experience with Kibana, Autosys, ServiceNow, and Azure DevOps (ADO). It is an asset if you have experience with Experience with Unix, Dynatrace, ITIL processes, AWS/Azure fundamentals, and BI tools such as Cognos
You have a degree/diploma in Computer Science, Business, and/or a related field. It’s an asset if you have experience with Agile methodologies, and Application and/or Architecture Development.
