Job Description
Chrome Extension Development & Maintenance
Develop interactive Chrome extensions from scratch with a focus on UI/UX and performance.
Modify and enhance existing Chrome extensions to add new features and improve functionality.
Ensure secure and seamless communication between the extension and the frontend application.
Integration & Frontend Development
Integrate Chrome extensions with web applications using APIs, WebSockets, and background scripts.
Ensure smooth data flow between the extension and backend services.
Work with frontend frameworks like React.js, Vue.js, Next.js, and Express.js for UI development.
Troubleshooting & User Support
Provide end-user support and troubleshooting for extension-related issues.
Debug and resolve performance bottlenecks, compatibility issues, and API failures.
Conduct testing across different browsers and environments to ensure seamless performance.
Performance Optimization & Security
Optimize extension performance, minimize memory usage, and enhance loading speed.
Implement security best practices to prevent vulnerabilities like XSS, CSRF, and data leaks.
Ensure compliance with Chrome Web Store policies and guidelines.
Collaboration & Continuous Learning
Work closely with frontend developers, designers, and backend teams to ensure smooth integration.
Stay up to date with Chrome Extension APIs, Manifest v3 updates, and web technologies.

Preferred Qualification

Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
Education
Masters/bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or equivalent work experience.
