Job Specifications

We are seeking a Full Stack Developer to join a major system migration project for a leading Belgian company.

By joining this project, you will work with the latest technologies, stay up-to-date with market trends, and deepen your expertise in both frontend and backend development. This is a long-term assignment. You’ll be working on this project for 12 months with the possibility of extension, giving you the chance to make a real impact. The role is hybrid, with 2 days on-site in Brussels (near Brussels-North) and flexible remote work the rest of the week, so you can avoid being stuck in traffic while staying connected to your team.

Job

Design, develop, and maintain web-based applications across legacy and modern systems
Implement new features and enhance existing front-end functionalities
Integrate back-end services and APIs to ensure consistent and reliable data exchange
Support onboarding and integration of partners and systems
Collaborate closely with internal teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions

Profile

Technical Skills & Experience

Frontend: Vue.js (experience with React.js or willingness to transition is advantageous)
Backend: Java, Spring / Spring Boot
DevOps & Cloud: Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS), Azure DevOps
Database: PostgreSQL
Other: XML, Cloud-native development, understanding of PRINCE principles
Proven experience with API development and middleware integration

Soft Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Effective communication and collaboration within cross-functional teams
Ability to align technical solutions with business objectives
Proactive, structured, and quality-oriented work approach

Languages

English: Required
Dutch or French: Advantageous

Offer
