Head of Sales – Series A Cybersecurity Scale-Up

Our client, a Series A cybersecurity company, is seeking an exceptional Head of Sales to accelerate the growth of their $5M ARR business and play a pivotal role as the CEO’s right hand in shaping and executing the go-to-market (GTM) strategy.

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven leader to join a high-growth business at a critical inflection point. Initially, the role will operate as a player-coach, driving direct sales while building the foundation of a world-class sales organization. Over time, the position will evolve into a Vice President of Sales role, responsible for scaling the team, processes, and revenue engine to achieve ambitious growth targets.

Key Responsibilities

Drive new business acquisition and expand existing customer relationships to rapidly grow ARR.
Partner closely with the CEO to refine and execute GTM strategy, including sales, partnerships, and pipeline development.
Act as both an individual contributor and team leader, balancing hands-on selling with building and mentoring the sales function.
Establish scalable sales processes, metrics, and performance management systems to support long-term growth.
Build, lead, and inspire a high-performing sales team as the company expands.
Collaborate with product, marketing, and customer success to align commercial goals and deliver value to customers.

Ideal Candidate

Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in a B2B SaaS or cybersecurity environment.
Experience in scaling ARR from ~$5M towards $20M+ within a venture-backed business.
Strong strategic mindset with the ability to operate at both tactical and executive levels.
Demonstrated ability to hire, coach, and lead high-performing sales teams.
Comfortable in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments, with the drive to build processes from the ground up.
Excellent communicator, with the gravitas to operate as a trusted partner to the CEO and leadership team.
