We seek a DevOps Engineer ( AppOps), Senior Level 3 who shares our passion for innovation and change. This role is critical to helping our business partners evolve and adapt to consumers' personalized expectations in this new technological era.
What will help you succeed:
At least 7 yrs IT experience in large scale, preferably Financial environments.
Must have at least 4 years DevOps experience with -
Kubernetes - good kubectl command knowledge
Helm
Containers - docker and or podman, images stored in Harbor
AWS
GitLab
Linux commands and bash scripting
SSL - good understanding of diagnosing connectivity issues
Experience of using standard management processes, such as - incident, change, release, problem, etc.
Preferably have experience of using :
Jira
Splunk
Dynatrace
Python
Desirable skills :
Redis
PostgreSQL
Kafka
We are looking for a DevOps trained professional to work in the AppOps team. The role will be to support the following -
AWS configuration for services like Transfer Family, a small number of EC2s, EFS, etc
AWS Kubernetes - 70+ microservices running across multiple tenants.
Helm Charts management - taking from lower dev envs and ensuring they work in the uppers.
ArgoCD - daily usage.
Argo Rollouts - implementing blue/green and canary deployment strategies.
Istio Service Mesh.
GitLab CD pipelines - build and support upper level pipelines.
Understand GIT branch strategies in large scale multi-environment implementations.
Environment builds - new client builds.
Involved with supporting performance/chaos testing teams.
Production release strategies and level 3 support for deployments.
