Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Automation Engineer to support sterile filling line operations at our client’s facility in New Jersey (2nd shift).

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with PLC and SCADA systems, ensuring compliant and efficient automation within sterile manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

Support and optimize automation processes for sterile filling lines.
Program, troubleshoot, and update PLC/SCADA systems (Allen Bradley, Siemens, TIA Portal, Ignition, WinCC-OA).
Ensure GDP and GMP compliance in all reprogramming and documentation activities.
Monitor line performance, recommend improvements, and resolve automation issues.
Collaborate with operations and QA teams on troubleshooting and root cause analysis.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Automation, or Control Systems Engineering (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience in sterile manufacturing automation environments.
Proficiency with Allen Bradley, Siemens, Ignition, and WinCC-OA platforms.
Strong understanding of GMP, GDP, and FDA regulatory compliance.
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
