Job Title – CMMC Project Manager

Location – Remote

Role Type – Contract – 6 Months

Must Have Skills:

Strong, hands-on CMMC expertise (deep technical knowledge will be assessed during interviews)
Cybersecurity background with a solid understanding of compliance frameworks
Proven project management experience with CMMC or similar security initiatives
Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently in a remote environment
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities and Job Details:

Lead and manage a dedicated CMMC compliance project from initiation to execution
Serve as the primary point of contact for all project activities and updates
Collaborate with internal cybersecurity teams to align project goals with CMMC requirements
Create and manage project plans, timelines, and deliverables
Ensure documentation and reporting meet necessary compliance standards
Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle
Facilitate regular stakeholder meetings and updates to ensure transparency
Track progress and maintain accountability across cross-functional teams
Ensure project remains aligned with evolving CMMC guidance and regulations
Provide expert insight into CMMC certification preparation and audit-readiness
Work closely with leadership to communicate progress and potential roadblocks
Ensure timely delivery of all milestones within the 6-month contract period
