Role: Kubernetes SRE/Developer

Hybrid - 2 days onsite at the client's office in Paris

Freelance, 3 month rolling contract

Location: Paris, France

Job Description

We are looking for a Freelance Kubernetes SRE/Developer who will work in the container-platform team. The team is responsible for designing, constructing, and operating platforms that support product services globally, utilizing technologies like Apache Mesos and Kubernetes. This strategic team assists around 600 internal clients in deploying applications while migrating critical services from Mesos to Kubernetes.

KEY MISSION

You will play a crucial role in supporting users as they navigate the platform in their daily activities. Additionally, you will contribute to enhancing the platform's reliability and communication.

Key Responsibilities

Triage messages and respond to inquiries in the Kubernetes Slack channel to assist and support users.
Escalate complex questions or significant platform issues to the Container Platform team.
Enhance existing documentation to empower users with greater autonomy.
Ensure proper execution of infrastructure deployment pipelines.
Participate in the resolution of bugs in Python, Golang and Ruby codebases.

Key Qualifications

Expertise and Good knowledge of Apache Mesos and Kubernetes.
Experience with services migrations from Mesos to Kubernetes.
Linux environment, network fundamentals
Knowledge of IaC tools and infra management
Good knowledge of Python, Golang and Ruby codebases
Development, especially in Go & Python
Team-oriented, with a passion for collaborating closely with others.
