Location: Leeds (Hybrid - 3 days per week onsite)
Salary: Up to PS50,000-PS60,000 + bonus | Annual pay rises | On-call | Private Medical | Pension | 25 days holiday (Option to buy/sell)
Harvey Nash have partnered exclusively with a leading organisation with nationwide operations that is undergoing an exciting infrastructure transformation. They are investing heavily in cloud-first technologies and security, and are looking for an Infrastructure Security Engineer to join their growing team.
In this role, you will support the organisation's transition to a cloud-first Azure environment, maintain and improve their hybrid infrastructure, and work on a variety of projects across automation, networking, and security. You'll also have the opportunity to collaborate with sector experts and further develop your skillset in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
What you'll be doing:
Maintain and support the IT infrastructure, including Exchange, SharePoint, Microsoft 365, VMware, and server hardware.
Support email security platforms and tools, such as MS Defender, and Mimecast.
Maintain security processes, web filters(iBoss), firewalls, scanners, and SIEM tools (AlienVault/Sentinel).
Work on automation and continuous improvement initiatives, maintaining and streamlining processes.
Take ownership of escalated tickets, applying practical solutions under pressure.
Collaborate with stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams.
What we're looking for:
IT Support Engineer background with exposure to IT support, 2nd/3rd line, and hybrid environments.
Knowledge of Microsoft 365 platforms, VMware, Exchange, and SharePoint.
Familiarity with security practices, firewalls, and SIEM is desirable.
Strong adaptability, resilience, and ability to take initiative in a fast-paced, varied environment.
Excellent communication skills and willingness to collaborate across teams.
