Job Summary:

We are looking for a passionate and motivated Junior Data Scientist on W2 to join our Data Engineering team. In this role, you'll support the design, development, and maintenance of scalable big data pipelines and platforms. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or junior professionals looking to build a strong foundation in data engineering and analytics.

Required Skills:

Minimum 1-3 years of Foundational knowledge of SQL and one programming language (preferably Python, Scala, or Java) after your Master's degree in computer science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
Understanding of big data concepts and distributed systems (HDFS, MapReduce, etc.)
Exposure to data tools like Apache Spark, Hadoop, or Hive.
Work with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP for big data storage and processing.
Familiarity with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.)
Basic knowledge of data pipelines, data ingestion, and batch/stream processing.
Understanding of data-warehousing and data-modelling techniques.
Work with large-scale datasets across structured and unstructured data sources.
Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
