Role Overview

We're looking for a creative, motivated Social Media Intern to support our marketing team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about food and digital storytelling, who wants hands-on experience running branded social channels. You'll play a key role in bringing Salz-Berg to life online through visuals, copy, and design.

What You'll Do

Plan, design, and schedule weekly content across Instagram and LinkedIn (other platforms as needed).
Create visuals and graphics in Canva (Adobe skills a plus).
Edit short-form videos for Reels/TikTok.
Write captions in a friendly, engaging tone aligned with our brand voice.
Research food and cooking trends, pitching fresh content ideas.
Track and report on post performance (engagement, reach, growth).
Contribute to product launches, seasonal campaigns, and influencer collaborations.

Who You Are

Prior experience with a brand, student group, or personal project on social media (with proven growth or creative output).
Comfortable with Canva (Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator/Premiere a bonus).
Strong writing and communication skills in British English.
A creative eye for visuals and brand aesthetics.
Reliable, organised, and able to meet deadlines independently.
Passionate about food, cooking, or lifestyle content.

Nice to Have

Experience in food, cooking, or lifestyle niches.
Familiarity with influencer marketing or collaborations.
Basic understanding of social media analytics and growth tactics.
