Management Accountant

6 Interim Contract with Opportunity for Permanent | Woking (Hybrid)

PS250-PS300 per day

We're working with a fast-growing business in the food services sector, currently seeking a Management Accountant to join their finance team on an interim basis.

This is a key role for a proactive and detail-driven finance professional who can deliver accurate reporting, support audits, and provide financial insights to help guide decision-making. You'll be joining during a busy period and will need to be confident working independently while partnering with senior stakeholders across the business.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare timely and accurate monthly management accounts at company and cost centre level
Deliver half-year, full-year, monthly, and quarterly reporting packs in line with group requirements
Lead on annual and interim audit preparation, managing audit queries and ensuring statutory compliance
Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and integrity of accounts
Manage intercompany reconciliations, invoicing, and accounting
Support business partnering by providing financial insight and ensuring key drivers are understood across the business
Implement and improve financial controls, processes, and reporting standards
Ensure transactions are correctly recorded in accordance with accounting standards and treatments
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across finance systems and reporting

What We're Looking For

Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
Previous experience as a Management Accountant or in a similar role
Strong technical knowledge of financial and management accounting
Excellent Excel skills; Sage 200 experience preferred but not essential
Experience working in a multi-site or service industry environment desirable
Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and available to start immediately
