Hi! We are the Omnevo Logistics Development Team and are looking forward to meeting you. Our team of more than 25 colleagues includes developers, QA specialists, DevOps engineers, designers, project managers, a technical lead, and product owners. We're now looking for additional support in our cross-functional setup.
Our web-based software is called ILS, which stands for Inflight Logistics Solution. It addresses the complex logistics flows of inflight-sold products such as food, beverages, and duty-free items.
We believe we're building the leading software solution in the travel retail sector. We enjoy solving new challenges together and achieving great things as a team. With focus, flexibility, and collaboration, we continuously improve our solution.
You'll work onsite with your teammates in Tangier, Morocco, and collaborate with Omnevo colleagues in Wiesbaden, Germany. If your first or second native language is French or Arabic (Darija) and you're fluent in English, this could be a great opportunity for you!
Your job
You design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services for our Logistics platforms.
You collaborate closely with frontend developers, product owners, and QA engineers to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
You contribute to architecture decisions, code reviews, and continuous improvement of our development process.
You ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications, including complex syncing logic.
You contribute to improving our development standards, deployment pipelines, and monitoring processes.
You write clean, maintainable, and testable code, with a focus on scalability and long-term maintainability.
What you bring along
8+ years of experience in backend development within agile, product-oriented teams.
Solid experience with PHP (Laravel/Symfony).
Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases.
Strong understanding of RESTful API design, microservices architecture, and clean code principles.
Experience with Docker, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and AWS cloud platform.
Strong focus on unit testing and test automation as part of your standard development practice, combined with solid skills in version control (Git).
Fluent in English (spoken and written). French or Arabic (Darija) is a strong plus.
A collaborative mindset and the motivation to work in a multicultural, cross-functional team.
