Job Specifications
6+ years of professional experience in Cloud Architecture and Engineering.
Deep hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) including:
EC2, S3, VPC, Lambda, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Route53, IAM, and CloudFront.
Managed databases (Aurora, RDS, DynamoDB).
Experience working with multi-cloud environments - particularly Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Strong background in DevOps, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and automation using:
Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.).
Proven experience in Cloud Security and Compliance, including:
Hands-on with AWS Security Hub, Azure Security Center, GCP Security Command Center.
Knowledge of SIEM tools, Cloud-native security configurations, and RBAC.
Familiarity with NIST, CIS Benchmarks, FedRAMP, PCI-DSS, and HIPAA standards.
Strong scripting/programming skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation.
Ability to design and implement secure, scalable, cost-optimized architectures aligned with enterprise goals.
Experience building monitoring and logging frameworks (e.g., CloudWatch, ELK, Splunk, Grafana).
Proven ability to manage multi-account/multi-region environments.
Familiarity with State of Missouri IT environment.
Experience using Kubernetes (EKS/AKS/GKE) and containerized workloads.
Preferred Certification: AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Professional), AWS Certified Security (Specialty), Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate, GCP, Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer.
