The Redesign Group is a global business strategy, design and technology solutions consulting firm specializing in transformational services that help organizations achieve their full potential. We are expanding our Product Development team that's focused on supporting software development initiatives for both The Redesign Group and the portfolio companies under Sanginario Ventures.

Bookstore.ai, a portfolio company of Sanginario Ventures, is on a mission to modernize the publishing and education technology industry. As a member of our Product Development team, you'll primarily support the next phase of advanced features for our Bookstore.ai mobile application.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile applications for iOS and Android using React Native.
Collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend developers to translate UI/UX designs into functional, high-performance mobile applications.
Implement clean, modular, and reusable code following best practices and coding standards.
Optimize mobile applications for performance, scalability, and accessibility.
Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services to support Bookstore.ai's functionality.
Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure cross-platform compatibility and a bug-free user experience.
Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with the team.
Stay up-to-date with the latest React Native updates, mobile development trends, and best practices.
Work closely with Bookstore.ai stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver features that align with their vision.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools within The Redesign Group and Sanginario Ventures.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of professional experience in software development, with at least 3 years focused on React Native for both iOS and Android.
Professional proficiency in English. Proficiency in French is preferred, but not required.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and React Native framework (including Swift and Kotlin.
Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX, or Context API).
Familiarity with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and integrating third-party libraries and SDKs.
Knowledge of mobile UI/UX principles and experience working with design tools like Figma.
Experience with native build tools, such as Xcode and Android Studio, for debugging and deployment.
Understanding of mobile app performance optimization techniques and best practices.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Experience in the e-commerce or digital content space (preferred but not required).
