The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a driven and strategic Senior Sponsorship Sales Manager to take ownership of a growing portfolio of sustainability-focused conferences. You'll lead sponsorship sales, build long-term partnerships with senior decision-makers, and help amplify climate commitments through tailored sponsorship packages and annual partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Sponsorship Sales: Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing high-value deals.
New Business Development: Build a robust client base through strategic outreach and relationship-building.
Account Management: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless sponsor experience and successful event delivery.
Stakeholder Engagement: Use a consultative approach to engage senior leaders in sustainability, energy, and supply chain sectors.
Market Intelligence: Provide insights to inform business strategy based on market trends and customer needs.
Pipeline Management: Use Salesforce to manage pipelines, forecast revenue, and report performance.
Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities across conferences, publishing, and stakeholder engagement services.

Ideal Candidate Profile

3-5 years of B2B sponsorship or solution sales experience, ideally within conferences, media, or sustainability sectors.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Strategic and consultative sales approach with strong negotiation skills.
Self-motivated, commercially minded, and highly organised.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Genuine interest in sustainability, climate solutions, or energy systems transformation.
