Job Title: IT - Lead Consultant / Sr. Java Tech Lead (Infrastructure Management | Java | Java RMI)

Location: Burgess Hill, UK

Work Mode: Hybrid (3 days WFO)

Contract Duration: 6 months (with potential extension; part of long-term program)

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Sr. Java Tech Lead / Architect to join our Infrastructure Management team. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring both delivery and strategic decision-making, with responsibility for guiding the development team and ensuring architectural excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor a development team, including planning, code reviews, and decision-making.
Contribute to architectural decisions and design discussions.
Deliver hands-on development in Java, building microservices and event-driven architectures.

Required Skills & Experience:

10+ years of experience in Java, Spring Boot, Kafka.
Strong experience in microservices and event-based architectures.
Proven leadership skills with experience in team guidance and technical decision-making.

A proactive, hands-on technical leader who balances delivery excellence with strategic architectural insight.
