About The Role
We're hiring a proactive, hands-on Director of International Growth to develop, own and execute the next phase of our global growth strategy. With nearly two decades of successful product market fit, we're now seeking a hands-on leader to accelerate our global growth.
You'll take a strong foundation and increase growth by partnering across teams to develop measurable international growth plans across markets, channels, and products. This is an exciting, hands-on, individual contributor role where you'll align on market profiles, shape the international business strategy, own a lean P&L, and drive your own execution. You will also collaborate closely across marketing, product, and content teams to deliver results. You'll turn an existing and healthy international footprint into scaled growth--fast.
As our international leader and subject matter expert, you'll identify and prioritize the highest-opportunity markets, lead the international go-to-market initiatives, and partner with product teams to shape how we localize, monetize and scale engagement globally. You'll ensure that our international growth strategy is aligned, operationalized, resourced, kept top of mind, and delivering results across the company.
We're happy to share that this is an onsite position in our San Francisco office. To help foster team collaboration, we require that employees be in the office a minimum of three days per week: Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday and as needed by your manager or the company. We believe that this working environment facilitates increased work efficiency, team partnership, and supports growth as an employee and organization.
In This Role, You Will
Own and execute an international growth strategy end-to-end
Drive lean P&L-level accountability for global markets
Deliver on aggressive growth targets in partnership with cross functional teams
Prioritize markets based on TAM, strategic fit, monetization potential, and other factors
Align on user profiles, market selection, and international business goals
Develop and manage monthly, quarterly, annual, and multi-year growth plans and targets
Identify strongest international growth levers, develop requirements and prioritize them cross-functionally across GTMs, product roadmaps, and monetization strategies
Influence LTV, ROI, and performance metrics in partnership with cross-functional teams
Define and lead localization and content strategies by region
Develop efficient and collaborative partnership rituals across Product, Marketing, Content, and Finance
Ensure the international growth strategy and its impact are visible and integrated company-wide
What You Bring To The Table
7-10+ years of proven experience in international expansion, global growth, or global strategy for consumer technology brands (edtech a plus)
Strong operator: execution-first, systems thinker, moves fast
Strategic enough to design and align plans, tactical enough to ship them
Deep understanding of international consumer markets, growth levers, and localization
Technical fluency in international payments and digital product systems
Data-driven, analytical, and outcome-oriented
Comfortable with ambiguity, autonomy, and working at speed
Excellent collaborator and influencer across teams without formal authority
