Summary

We are an early-stage startup building a platform where AI video creators can showcase their work and share it with a wider audience. Our goal is to provide an engaging and user-friendly space for creative expression, starting with a simple and scalable foundation.

As our Founding Full-Stack Engineer, you will play a key role in bringing the MVP to life. Success in this role means delivering a functional and stable foundation that allows us to grow the platform further.

Please note: This is a remote position and equity-based only. You'll be joining as part of the founding team, with the opportunity to grow alongside the company.

Responsibilities

Build and deploy the MVP
Develop and maintain both frontend and backend features
Set up and manage databases with scalability and security in mind
Implement authentication and social login systems
Deploy the platform on cloud services (e.g., Vercel, AWS)
Collaborate with the founding team to define priorities and deliver features
Ensure best practices for performance, maintainability, and security

Must-Have Skills

Frontend

Proficiency in React.js / Next.js
Solid knowledge of HTML & CSS fundamentals
Tailwind CSS / shadcn/ui (responsive UI design and components)
Basic form handling (sign-up, login, profile editing)
OAuth / Social Login integration (Google, Apple, Facebook, etc.)

Backend

Strong in Node.js / Express (or Next.js API routes)
Building RESTful APIs (for profile CRUD operations)
Authentication & Authorization (JWT / OAuth2)
Security basics (password hashing, input validation, CSRF protection)

Database

Experience with PostgreSQL / MySQL / MongoDB
Ability to design user-related schemas (User table, Profile table, Tags/Tools table)

Cloud / Infrastructure

Deployment experience on Vercel / Netlify / AWS / GCP
File storage solutions (e.g., AWS S3 for profile images or work samples)

Frontend Enhancements: TypeScript, Zustand / Redux
Backend Extensions: GraphQL, Prisma ORM
Community Features: WebSocket / Firebase (real-time notifications or chat)
DevOps: GitHub Actions / GitLab CI (automated deployments)

Qualifications

2+ years of professional experience, or strong portfolio/side projects that show end-to-end web development skills
Hands-on experience building and deploying full-stack web apps
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Interest in startups, creative tech, or building products from the ground up
