Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Drupal Developer who will support our client. This role involves leveraging Drupal as an Enterprise Platform solution, utilizing current technologies and industry best practices to enhance service delivery. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in Drupal theming, custom functionality, module development, and both frontend and backend development.
Duties
Design, develop, and maintain Drupal websites ensuring usability, accessibility, responsiveness, and compliance with NYS standards.
Develop custom Drupal themes, modules, and features.
Utilize PHP, JavaScript/jQuery, HTML/CSS, and Twig templating for frontend and backend development.
Implement and maintain responsive design and ensure cross-browser/platform compatibility.
Leverage Drupal enterprise platforms, including Acquia and SOLR/SearchStax.
Extend contributed or custom Drupal modules such as CTools, Views, and Panels.
Conduct browser testing, graphical verification, and performance optimizations.
Use Git for version control and collaboration.
Coordinate releases and support emergency upgrades as required.
Mandatory Qualifications
5-7+ years of professional programming experience.
5+ years of custom Drupal development (modules, features, themes).
5+ years programming with PHP.
5+ years of programming with JavaScript and jQuery.
5+ years of programming with HTML5, CSS3, and SASS.
5+ years of experience in web graphical, browser, and cross-platform compatibility testing with responsive design.
4+ years of experience with Acquia and SOLR/SearchStax.
4+ years of experience using contributed or custom Drupal modules (CTools, Views, Panels, etc.) and extending them.
4+ years of experience using Git.
