Role : UI Lead - React

Contract Role
We are seeking an experienced React UI Lead to drive the design, development, and delivery of scalable, high-performing, and user-friendly web applications. The role requires strong expertise in modern UI frameworks, leadership in managing UI teams, and hands-on experience with React.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, and front-end architectures. The candidate will collaborate closely with product owners, UX designers, and backend engineers to deliver world-class digital experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Lead a team of UI developers, providing technical direction, mentoring, and code reviews.
Architect, design, and implement reusable and scalable React-based components and applications.
Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend teams to translate requirements into high-quality UI solutions.
Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, accessibility (WCAG/ARIA), and performance optimization.
Drive adoption of modern frontend tools and frameworks (React Hooks, Context API, Redux, Next.js, etc.).
Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated testing strategies for UI code.
Stay updated with emerging UI technologies and recommend adoption to improve developer efficiency and product quality.
Ensure security, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility in all UI deliverables.
Required Skills & Experience
8+ years of professional experience in frontend development.
4+ years of hands-on experience with React.js, Redux (or equivalent state management), and TypeScript/JavaScript ES6+.
Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3 (SASS/LESS), Flex/Grid, Responsive Design.
Experience with UI performance tuning, optimization, and accessibility compliance.
Exposure to Next.js, Node.js, RESTful APIs, GraphQL.
Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress).
Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, CI/CD tools, Git, and DevOps practices.
Proven experience in leading and mentoring frontend teams.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
